Curtis Sullivan in free recital

Appearing at the L.E.R. Theatre on Saturday, March 14, 7.30 p.m., Curtis Sullivan, baritone and artist of extraordinary diversity returns home to Dalhousie, Restigouche County, Canada. He will be accompanied by Toronto pianist Emily Hamper on Bösendorfer.

The artist has performed across Canada, in the USA and several cities in Asia. Specially, Curtis Sullivan has sung with the Calgary and Vancouver Operas, San Francisco Opera, the Stratford Festival, to cite just a few o9f his engagements.

The recital will feature songs by classical composers, Schubert, Fauré and Copland, among others.

The free concert is sponsored by funds from the late Charles Woodcock. Woodcock, a generous benefactor to the region, has also purchased a $ 140.000 Bösendorfer grand for “the people of Restigouche”, which is housed at the L.E.R. Theatre. Emily Hamper is thrilled to play “such a wonderful piano”.
