Starting with Mozart's Musical Joke the Delaware Symphony Orchestra ran a special performance on April's Fool Day in Dover.
Directed by Conductor David Amado the concert was intented to show the very funny side of classical music. And the audience very much, appreciated the jokeful musical evening that included also an abbreviated version of Wagner's Ring über-operas and Saint-Saens "Carnival of Animals" narrated by Charlotte Blake Alston.
The orchestra was supported by two Bösendorfer grand pianos shipped in from Philadelphia (Cunningham Piano) just for the show, "huge, vast, battleships of pianos", as David Amado called them.

The artists enjoyed the evening as well.
