Alexey Botvinov, an international well known Ukranian/Russian pianist, on Bösendorfer

The pianist played within a classical series on the Russian television channel TVC Bosendorfer model 225 in St. Petersburg.

Born in Odessa, Alexey Botvinov begins his musical studies with Prof. S.L. Mogilevskaya and finishes his studies at the Mosow conservatory with Prof. A.A. Kardaschow. Only 19 years old he won the Allunions - Rachmaninow - competition in Moscow. He became soloist of the Philharmony and was nominated as teacher at the conservatory. Being the assistant of Prof. Gornostayeva at the famous Moscow Conservatory Botinov increased his musical knowledge.
In more than 20 countries the pianist performed on festivals world wide, i.e. the Chopin Festival in Poland and in Zurich. In October 2007 he made a tour through Asia and was celebrated with standing ovations.
