London debut of Anna Magdalena Kokits on Bösendorfer
Young Pianist Anna Magdalena Kokits demonstrated her exceptional talents with a concert at the Austrian Cultural Forum on September 29.
Anna Magdalena Kokits' was born in Vienna in 1988, where she was given her first piano lessons by her mother at the age of four. She has been a student of Alejandro Geberovic for years and achieved numerous prizes at various international competitions in Austria and abroad. She also received a special prize from the Academy of Music in Prague for her outstanding interpretations of the works of Smetana. Since 2007 she has been performing together with Alexander Gebert, a cellist for the Altenberg Trio Vienna.
The Austrian Cultural Forum started its New Artist Series with Anna Magdalena Kokits-and Haydn and Brahms.

The Austrian Cultural Forum London promotes cultural contacts between the UK and Austria by organising events and supporting artists and projects in the fields of music, performing arts, literature, film and visual arts as well as through academic symposia and public discussion. It provides a venue in central London for recitals, lectures, conferences and visual arts.
Anna Magdalena Kokits debuted with a programme which included works by Joseph Haydn, Johannes Brahms and Alexander Scriabin; her instrument was a Bösendorfer grand. (rulö)

Bösendorfer Concert Series
Next day (Wesnesday 30 September) Anna Magdalena Kokits opened up the "Bösendorfer Concert Series" with a piano recital in St Mary Magdalene Church, Munster Square.
The first visitors are ariving at the very atmospheric concert setting.
The Concert Series is organised by Markson Pianos (7-8 Chester Court, Albany Street, London) showcasing the Bösendorfer Concert Grand pianos and introducing the next primary artists from around the world, together with artists pre-eminent in their field.
The Bösendorfer Concert Series is co-sponsored by the Austrian Cultural Forum.
A visitor of Anna's concert reported: "The concert was wonderful. Anna performed with consummate skill and I loved the elegant flourishes at the end of each piece, Her playing was met with rapturous applause." (rulö)
