"I am deeply impressed"

William Carlton Eacho, since mid-September 2009 United States ambassador to Austria, recently visited the Bösendorfer piano company.

Together with Mrs. Eacho and the young pianist Clifton Williams, ambassador Eacho took considerable time to become familiar with the individual production steps in making a Bösendorfer piano and the secrets of its special sound. The high-level guest and his companions were deeply impressed by the special manufacturing quality and the unique craftsmanship.

Mr. Eacho studied piano himself, even if he now only plays occasionally at home, and imparts the joy of playing the instrument to his sons. At the end of the two-hour tour of the Bösendorfer factory by concert technician Hans Muff, Clifton Williams sat at a Bösendorfer 280 CEUS and was thrilled by the beauty of the piano’s sound as well as the perfect playback by the CEUS reproducing system.
