Music Festival "Wörthersee Classics" of Klagenfurt-Carinthia, Austria
Gustav Mahler and Alban Berg spent their summer holidays on the southern shore of Lake Wörthersee, Johannes Brahms composed like Pörtschach, Anton Weber lodged in Klagenfurt and Hugo Wolf´s early years were dominated by the hill country at Middle and Lower Carinthia. This year the Wörthersee Classics were held for the 12th time in Klagenfurt / Carinthia, Austria explains Alexei Kornienko and Elena Denisova. The second evening was devoted to large romantic feelings with the beautiful “Forellenquintett” (Trout quintett) by Franz Schubert and the Piano Quartett by Johannes Brahms brought their sounds to vibrate the soul. On the podium concerted the Gustav-Mahler-Ensemble at the Bösendorfer 280.
