The new Bösendorfer Saal im Mozarthaus Vienna
Ladies and Gentlemen, dear music lovers and visitors to our concerts!
Finally it has been set up! The new Bösendorfer hall has been launched.
As announced we can now give notice that we do have a new Bösendorfer hall. It is the third one in the history of Bösendorfer and it is situated in the Mozarthaus Vienna, right in the city center of Vienna near St. Stephan's Cathedral.
The beautifully designed hall in the vaulted cellar of the building of Mozart's flat in Vienna, has excellent acoustics and is equipped with a Bösendorfer Model 200.
We are now looking forward to the continiuation of Bösendorfer's concert life, as well as to new potential visitors and persons interested in Bösendorfer, that initially came to see the Mozarthaus. We are very fond of the cooperation among the two institutions (Mozarthaus Vienna and Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik) and wish the new Bösendorfer Saal im Mozarthaus Vienna many beautiful concerts and content visitors.
The official opening concert took place on October 6th, 2010 and the hall was inaugurated by works of Mozart, Bach and Gulda - performed by Maestro Paul Gulda. Many well-known artists, professors, politicians and representatives of both Mozarthaus and Bösendorfer attended this historic event.
We are looking forward to seeing you there and thank you for your patience waiting for the new hall.
