J.S. Bach: Goldberg-Variationen BWV 988
Born in Budapest, first piano lessons at the age of five. After studies at the Béla Bartók Conservatory and the Franz Liszt College of Music in the class of Tibor Wehner, diploma for piano and piano pedagogy.
Even before her exams she played for Alfred Brendel, who promptly invited her to the International Master Course of the Vienna Festival, where she won the first prize and scholarships several times in a row.
She completed her piano studies at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. Dieter Weber, who heard a public recital of hers and invited her into his master class. Later she got a second diploma for chamber music in the class of Prof. Hans Kann.
She already gave solo recitals during her years of study, and constantly since the seventies as soloist in Austria and several European cities. Since the nineties additionally as member of the Schumann-Trio which she founded.
She regularly performs the most important works of piano literature in the "Old Music Academy" in Budapest, which was founded by Franz Liszt (later to become the Liszt-Museum) where the composer used to teach and perform during his last years.
Recently she fulfilled her lifelong dream by having studied and played J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations, which she performed to huge acclaim in May 2011 in the Bartók Béla Memorial House, the Bartók's last residence in Budapest.
