The Institutional Models – So close to perfection

Already in the past, the Bösendorfer family looked after young musicians such as Anton and Artur Rubinstein, I. Paderewski, B. Bartók, E. Grieg and F. Busoni by sponsoring and supporting them. It is of the utmost importance for young musicians to play an instru-ment of the highest quality right from the beginning. Bösendorfer is prepared to support and accompany you along this path.

Best Tool

Whoever wishes to learn his handcraft properly ought to work with the best tool available from the very beginning. For this reason, we at Bösendorfer have come up with something special: the CS series grand pianos.

The sound of these grands, conceived especially for schools and conservatories, by no means falls short of their big brothers. Only in areas that do not compromise the manner of playing, the action or the sound quality have we made simplifications in order to help students obtain the best and most affordable tool.

Conservatory Series pianos, like all other Bösendorfer instruments, are manufactured from the highest-quality materials, which in the end account for the unmistakable sound of our instruments.

Responsibility

In addition to the commitment to the highest musical quality of our instruments, the responsibility to young, maturing musicians is especially important to us. This very commitment was one of the fundamental reasons for developing the Conservatory Series.

The owner of a Conservatory Series piano (200 CS and 214 CS) can be entirely certain of playing an instrument that offers him or her the best prerequisites for a successful career. Only with the best instrument, one built for the highest demands and brilliant virtuosity, is it possible to develop and realize technical proficiency and artistic subtleties.
