Rosewood
Native to Brazil and South America, rosewood trees grow to heights of up to 10 m. The wood is yellowish-pink with irregular red streaks, delicate porous texture and produces a very decorative veneer. It is often used for luxury articles, for building pianos and exquisite furniture. It is considered one of the most expensive and beautiful types of wood.
