Walnut
The trees that grow to 30 m in height and have a diameter of 2 m are the raw materials used for producing a calming, figured veneer. Second growth trees have a rough single-veined structure; late wood also has delicate tangential grain structure and radial streaks. Walnut has been used for exclusive interior wall-panelling, furniture and instruments (organ) since the renaissance, baroque and rococo periods.
