Donka Angatscheva (Austria)
"Bösendorfer is my soul.
Everything I feel can be received by this instrument — it senses, understands, and transforms every vibration, every nuance of my innermost emotions into sound. Every thought, every tremor of my soul flows into this instrument as if it were a living being breathing with me.
The entire keyboard – from the deepest, warmest bass tones to the brightest, shimmering highs – is a palette of colors to me. When I play, I feel like a painter who paints with sound. Every note has its own color, its own character, and together they create a vivid musical image.
No other instrument can convey such delicate nuances so profoundly and directly to the audience and into the concert hall as the Bösendorfer.
I am proud and grateful to have found my instrument – one that understands me, speaks with me, and brings my soul to life in sound."
